Planning for Fall Training
As restrictions begin to lift and we anticipate the end of the pandemic, we are happy to begin planning for karate training in the fall. The school where we trained until March 2020 (École Terre des Jeunes at 3720 42 St NW) has contacted us with the understanding that we will restart, following our old schedule: Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday nights. At this point, the schedule is tentative, assuming COVID cases continue to decline and vaccination rates increase. We will keep you posted as we learn more about the fall training schedule. An important consideration is that we may face restrictions on the number of participants per class. So, while we are encouraging new members, we first want to confirm how many of our current members will be rejoining.
Please email me using the Contact Form page on our website to let me know your training plans for the fall and to save a place if you or your family members are planning to rejoin our dojo.
In the meantime, the Adult Class Fun Runs are underway – good to see everyone at Baker Park on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Remember, these sessions for our adult class members are optional and weather dependent. If you are interested, we meet in the Baker Park parking lot at 6:00 PM. Sessions run until approximately 8 pm.
Take care, stay safe, and have a great summer!
