Our provincial Association is sponsoring a first aid certification program with the help of Matt McInnes, a karate student in sensei Hiob’s dojo, and a certified First Aid instructor, copied.

This course is a two-day standard (intermediate) first aid course. The course will provide participants with an OH&S-approved standard (intermediate) first aid with CPR and AED certificate. 

There is a one-day portion which is completed online to simplify, and the second part, completed in a face-to-face class. The online part MUST BE COMPLETED before the face-to-face component, which will be held in sensei Casey’s dojo, Friday September 15. Our dojo will sponsor 50% of the cost for you to attend. This is a great opportunity to do what every citizen should do regularly, for a low cost..

Matt says: He has created two coupon codes to the class that will give the student a discount which will get their cost down to 50% of the discounted price. This code should only be used for those who are being sponsored by the dojo. (THAT IS ALL OF YOU IN THE CALGARY DOJO!). Anyone who uses this code will pay $48.75 which will trigger Matt to issue an invoice to the dojo after the class for the other 50%.

So now there are two payment options for the Southern Alberta class:

1. A student can use the DOJO coupon code and will pay $48.75 at the checkout. You will receive an invoice for the remaining balance of $48.75 after completion of the course.

2. A student uses the KARATE code and pays the standard discounted price of $97.50 and no invoice is triggered (that would be for students NOT at our dojo).
